Oneing: Loving in a Time of Exile
DETAILS
Established in 2013, ONEING is the biannual journal of the Center for Action and Contemplation. Renowned for its diverse and deep exploration of mysticism and culture, ONEING is grounded in Richard Rohr’s teachings and wisdom lineage. Each issue features a themed collection of thoughtfully curated essays and critical perspectives from spiritual teachers, activists, modern mystics, and prophets of all religions.
There are parts within each of us that we banish out of shame, woundedness, fear, and inherited family system patterns. There are systems of power around us that exile those who are different or do not comply. The articles and authors in this issue invite us to rediscover the God who exiles nothing and in whom all reality belongs.
“ONEING: Loving in a Time of Exile” was edited by Mark Longhurst, CAC's Digital and Print Publications Manager. In this journal, readers will explore the complexities of stepping into love during times of exile.
This issue features contributions from Brian D. McLaren, Carmen Acevedo Butcher, Mirabai Starr, Paul Swanson, Barbara C. Otero-López, Pamela Ayo Yetunde, Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer, Belden Lane, Connie Zweig, Or N. Rose, Michael Battle, Randy S. Woodley, and Lee Staman.
