The Little Way: A Spirituality of Imperfection (MP3)

$8.00

DETAILS

Richard Rohr shares the insights of St. Therese of Lisieux, which show imperfection as the organizing principle of spiritual reality. Imperfection is the framework inside of which God makes the Godself known and leads us to union.

This one-hour teaching is a great introduction to Richard's talks on addiction and recovery, How Do We Breathe Under Water? The Gospel and 12-Step Spirituality and the book Breathing Under Water: Spirituality and the Twelve Steps.

Richard considers the 12-Step program to be America's greatest contribution to spiritual understanding. Addiction refers not only to alcohol and drugs, but to the many things that "possess" us like consumerism, sex, and the primary addiction, which is to our way of thinking.

By "breathing underwater" we learn to regard with humility all containers, including our own, and to travel through the steps of recovery to transformation, illumination, and union.
